Guys whatever you do do not make this without pancheta or bacon or whatever meat you use!!! It will taste too tomatoey and seem like it need salt but when you put salt it makes to taste not so good

She uses pancetta continously. Every recipe she makes she will use pancetta. Pancetta goes in "Amatriciana". Pasta arrabbiata doesn't come with pancetta.

Laura SHAME ON YOU, this was a basic sauce, Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic in oil for 5 minutes. Stir in wine, sugar, basil, crushed chillies, tomato puree, lemon juice, Italian herb seasoning, black pepper and tomatoes; bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered about 15 minutes. Where was this in your video? this was a waste of time1 I am Italian.

Are you Italian? All you did in this recipe was to make a BASIC pasta sauce. Where are the olives, parsley, beef, etc? this recipe was no better than what is out there! SHAME ON YOU!

For people that say don't put the pancetta in: I totally disagree. The pancetta gives SUCH a nice flavor. It may/may not be called Arrabiata, but DELICIOUS.

That sounds delicious, but here in Italy 'arrabbiata' (2 x b) doesn't include pancetta and the peperoncino is usually fresh!
